Fundamentals of Yoga

Asking questions about how and why we practise Yoga.

We will learn something about the fundamentals of how the body works as well as what benefits we can achieve from a consistent yoga practise.

The classes will focus primarily on some of the most important poses used within modern yoga sessions as well as practising other essential yogic techniques from meditation to breathing methods to bring balance to the body and mind. We will explore some of the core aspects of the 8 part path as described in
Patanjalis classic yoga text

This class is suitable for those new to yoga or those with experience. The intensity of poses will be adapted to work to the levels of the individual.
