How many of us identify with a “weak core”? This feeling of poor abdominal control can often be experienced through lower back pain, hip pain, or a general sense of instability throughout the body.  Through attending our classes you will find yourself gaining strength and confidence with your movement, and taking back control of your aches and pains.

Pilates offers more than just a tummy workout, it supports us in gaining strength throughout our whole system while engaging and activating deep muscles creating a happy, healthy body. You will learn how to move, breath and function with more strength and control which ultimately leads to a reduction of instability, encouraging opportunity for you to heal and grow.

Our classes are suitable for all levels of fitness and experience. whether you are a seasoned class attendee or totally new to the idea, you will find the experience both supportive and challenging.

Body Control Pilates - with Dena

Based upon a well-constructed philosophical foundation, Body Control Pilates is a remarkably effective, holistic and medically approved whole-body sysem. Central to the method is developing 'awareness of your body', with every exercise built around eight basic principles:

Relaxation, Concentration, Co-ordination, Centering, Breathing, Alignment, Stamina and Flowing Movements.

What Is Pilates + Yoga Fusion

A question we get a lot, and one that's easily answered. Quite simply its a combination of both Yoga and Pilates.

This is a class for those who enjoy the fluidity that comes from a dynamic class with the challenge of engaging their core. Garuda supports mindful powerful movement with emphasis placed on spinal waves and motion. If you want to keep your midline, supple yet strong, we highly recommend you give this is the class a try.
