Dena is a Level 3 Matwork Certified Teacher and a member of the Body Control Pilates Association.
She has been a professional dancer for 18 years including performing, choreographing and teaching. Most of her career was spent performing for Sir Matthew Bourne’s company New Adventures.
Dena has been on a very personal journey with Body Control Pilates, to totally overcome a severe spinal injury. It is now part of her lifestyle and well being.
Body Control Pilates helps you to develop an awareness of your body. It involves exercise built around eight principles - relaxation, concentration, co-ordination, centering, breathing, alignment, stamina and flowing movements.
