Liz Lanphier Evans
Tuesdays 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Liz has been practicing privately in the Brighton and Hove area for over 10 years after studying Chinese medicine for 5 years, full time, in UK University accredited schools and earned a LicAc, BSc in acupuncture and a post graduate diploma/ certification (PGDip) in Oriental herbal medicine.
She has been working along with NHS doctors for the last 6 years, treating complex, chronic, painful conditions as well as the commonly accompanying depression and anxiety. Herbal medicine was sometimes added to these acupuncture treatments. Before that she also worked for 3 years in a Pain Clinic and honed her skills treating conditions like shoulder, neck, knee and back pain. She regularly incorporates Gua Sha, massage, and electro acupuncture to increase the effectiveness of treatments.
Additionally, she will discuss
nutrition and exercise in order to help her patients get the best results. As a
herbalist, Liz has undergone post graduate studies including a year-long
course in dermatology and courses in digestive diseases and fertility. More
recently she has been enjoying courses in classical Chinese medicine studies
from a Daoist tradition which focus on a unique and very effective treatment
method for painful conditions.
